Welcome to Ottawa 2 District Masons

Madawaska Lodge No 196 is pleased to announce the candidacy
of Worshipful Brother Michael Nagrodski

for the position of
District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) of Ottawa District 2

The election of the DDGM will take place at Grand Lodge this summer. All candidates must be in possession of a Certificate of Completion of the course known as "Past Masters Course" as offered by the College of Freemasonry. A candidate who is elected is subject the approval and confirmation by the Grand Master (Book of Constitution Sections 50 -52)


Thanks to all of the lodges that submitted the required reports to date.
The report for the Walkley Road Temple, Cobden and Westoboro Boards
are scheduled for completion in the near future.

 

 

Ceremony of Extinguishing
the Lights

 

The lights of Bonnechere Lodge No 433 GRC will be extinguished on Wednesday evening June 21st, 2017. 

Lodge will Tyle at 7:30 PM. There will be no other business other than to open the lodge, introduce the visitors,
and perform the ceremony. Refreshments will be offered in the banquet hall after the closing of the lodge.

Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario,
which oversees in our province the world's oldest (3,000 years old)
and largest (6 million members worldwide) fraternity - Freemasonry.
