Freemasonry
in the National Capital Region

Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternity organized by Grand Lodges which provide support for individual Lodges within a geographical jurisdiction. There are a number of jurisdictions in and around the National Capital Region.

Under the Grand Lodge A.F.& A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario:

Ottawa District 1
encompassing Lodges in the City of Ottawa, and communities to the South

Ottawa District 2
also encompassing Lodges in the City of Ottawa, and communities up the Ottawa Valley

Eastern District
serving communities between the Ottawa and St. Lawrence Rivers, from the Quebec border to Cardinal, ON

St. Lawrence District
embracing Lodges from Cardinal west to Brockville in the St. Lawrence Valley

Lodges in Gatineau and Western Quebec, come under the jurisdiction of the
Grand Lodge of Quebec
